Goats are not required to have an EID identifier but must have two identifiers if they are over 12 months of age.
Visual goat tags are available in various styles or colours except red (replacements) and yellow*
Yellow visual for Scotland only. EID tags for goats will be loop or button.
Management information can be written on goat tags but must not interfere with the reading of the official number.
